Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

1. Who we are

Nestro (“Nestro”, “we”, “us”) provides a software (SaaS) platform that lets venues and hospitality professionals find each other and arrange bookings between themselves. We are not a party to those bookings, agreements, or payments. For the personal data described in this policy, Nestro is the data controller. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@nestro.nl.

Company details Nestro:

Company: Casterbee

KVK: 78498384

Address: Beukelsweg 26b, 3022GJ Rotterdam, The Netherlands

2. Data we collect

We collect the information you provide when you create an account and use Nestro: name, email address, phone number, and, depending on your role, profile details such as your venue, work history, rates, availability, photos, and documents. We also process booking and message data generated through the platform, along with any invoice a professional chooses to send through our invoicing feature, and basic technical data (device, browser, and usage logs) needed to run and secure the service.

To keep the community safe, talents may be asked to show an identity document solely so we can confirm they are a real person. We use it only for that check and do not store your ID — once verification is complete, no copy is kept (see retention below).

3. How we use your data

We use your data to provide the platform: creating and managing your account, matching venues and professionals, enabling bookings and messaging, providing a feature professionals can use to send their own invoices, sending service notifications and emails, providing support, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving Nestro. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Legal basis

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), to comply with legal obligations that apply to us, and on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the platform. Where required, we rely on your consent — for example, for certain marketing communications — which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Sharing your data

To facilitate a booking we share the relevant details between the venue and the professional involved — for example, name, contact details, and shift information. We also use trusted service providers (such as hosting and email delivery) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. Nestro is not involved in payment, invoicing, or the agreement between the venue and the professional — these are strictly between them. We may disclose data where required by law. Some service providers may process data outside the EEA.

Business transfers. If Nestro is involved in a merger, acquisition, investment, partnership, or sale of all or part of its assets or business, your personal data may be transferred to or shared with the relevant third party as part of that transaction. This includes situations where Nestro or its parent company undergoes a change of ownership or corporate restructuring. Where such a transfer occurs.

We share anonymised usage data with advertising partners including Meta, Google, and TikTok to show relevant advertisements about Nestro on those platforms. This only occurs with your consent.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Account and profile data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards; booking and message records are kept only as long as needed to run the platform. Any invoice a professional sends through our invoicing feature is their own record, which they remain responsible for keeping for as long as their own rules require. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Identity documents used to verify a talent are an exception we treat strictly: they are checked only to confirm the person is real and are not stored — once verification is done, we keep no copy of the ID.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@nestro.nl. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how Nestro works.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to respond promptly to any incident.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Please also review our Terms & Conditions.
